Based in Taunton, Will Shakspeare produces amazing and individual glassware. Living just a stone's throw from the Shop and being a big fan of our coffee we see plenty of Curry Mallet artist Mary Vanderplank. Mary paints in oil and watercolour. Her views of West Country landscapes are superb, as are herSomerset food gifts art homemade cakes studies in detail. Jewellery is always a winner and ours is supplied by Othery-based Denise Hawkins. Denise specialises in silver; earrings, brooches, necklaces and more. Included in the range is an excellent selection of amber pieces which are very popular.

Working in felt, Marilyn Hayward from Hatch Beauchamp keeps us topped up with delightful purses, wallets, and brooches. Particularly attractive are Marilyn's lovely "cottage" door stops/book ends which everyone stops to admire. "How's the housing market in Curry Mallet?" is a regular question from Marilyn. "Bucking the trend as far as cottages go" is the usual answer!
